Actor Kamal Haasan’s dream project ‘Dasavathaaram’ has hit the screens in its Hindi version as well. Titled ‘Dasavathaar’, the movie directed by KS Ravikumar, has taken a lukewarm response, even as the actor has proceeded on his next project, ‘Unnaipol Oruvan’ (Eenadu in Telugu).

The film is a remake of the small budget Hindi super hit, A Wednesday, and has the actor pairing up for Mohanlal for the first time. In Telugu, he has teamed with Venkatesh for the film, which is still being shot.

While this is said to a small budget project, funded by Raaj Kamal Films International and U TV, Kamal Haasan is then expected to take on another experimental project, called 19th Step, in which he plays a Kalari teacher.

19th Step will be directed by Bharat Bala, and has Asin playing the heroine. Kamal will play her mentor as a martial arts teacher in the film, which is also said to star Pasupathy and Prithviraj. The movie is expected to go on the floors this September. The movie has music by AR Rahman, while Kamal’s daughter Shruthi Haasan will be the music composer of ‘Unnaipol Oruvan’.
