‘Ananthapuram 1980’ to hit theatres on May 1

‘Ananthapuram-1980’ the Telugu version of Tamil super hit ‘Subrahmanyapuram’, is soon releasing. Swathi of ‘Ashta Chemma’ fame as heroine, Sesikumar acted as hero and directed the movie.

The story revolves around five youngsters who fall into the trap of opportunistic politicians. It will be interesting to watch how the hero gets cheated in the name of love. Thought not a factionist film, it has a resemblance to the environs of Ananthapuram. Plotted on a path breaking theme, it is packed with suspense and has a message for youth.

Presented by M Narendra the Telugu version is being produced by M.Ranganath on Simhapuri Talkies. The movie is slated for release on 1st of May.

Jai, Ganja Karuppu, Samudhirakani and others are in the main cast. James Vasanthan composed the tunes for the lyrics composed by Vennelakanti. Dialogues are penned by Shashank Vennelakanti.
