Kamal’s ‘Eenadu’ in RFC

Kamal Haasan’s latest bilingual film ‘Eenadu’ in Tamil and ‘Unnaipol Oruvan’ in Tamil is a remake of critically acclaimed super hit, Naseeruddin Shah and Anupam Kher starrer, ‘A Wednesday’ commenced shooting at Ramoji Film City on April 7 and is in progress.

Kamal playing the role of Naseeruddin Shah in both versions, the role of Anupam Kher in the reprise will have Malayalam Star Mohanlal (in Tamil) and Telugu star Venkatesh (in Telugu). Chakry well know by his dialogue bhangima in ‘Sagara Sangamam’ a classical hit of Kamal is debuting as a director with this film. Kamal’s Raj Kamal production has joined hands with UTV Studios to make this film.

Currently the unit with Kamal and Mohanlal is shooting in a huge set erected in Ramoji Film City in the art direction of Thota Tharani. They are also rendering spot dubbing to save on time. Venkatesh will soon join the team for a parallel shoot in Telugu.

Shruthi Haasan daughter of the versatile artist Kamal is making her debut as a music director.
