The hype and hoopla for the Telugu remake film ‘Pokkiri’ that is ‘Porkhi’ in Kannada is increasing now with the start of the shooting on last Monday. In the leadership of journalist Ganesh Kasargod producer Datta is investing huge money on the Kannada film ‘Porkhi’ that has challenging star Darshan in the lead role. Dialogue writer BA Madhu, cameraman Krishnakumar, actor Darshan, journalist Ganesh Kasargod and producer Datta are absolutely confident on the Kannada version making good business in the box office. This will be a complete family film. Dialogue writer Madhu has gone a step ahead to say that the film is like a most beautiful girl.

For Darshan ‘Porkhi’ a remake of ‘Pokkiri’ will be an antique piece to Kannada. We give different look and location says Darshan who is using the 435 Camera which he has bought for shooting of this film.

Producer Datta said the selection of Darshan to this role was via survey and it was his choice too. Financier and distributor by profession Datta distributed ‘Pokkiri’ Telugu in Guntur region.

It has been a long time wish of director MD Sridhar to take up Darshan starring film. Harikrishna has completed two foot tapping tunes and Krishnakumar is the man behind camera.
