Despite his gift of the gab, actor Prasanna is yet to taste success and establish a firm position in Kollywood. If his 'Naaikutty' in which he was touted to have a makeover, was dropped due to various reasons, his other film, 'Manjal Veyyil', in which he pairs with Sandhya, is yet to see light of day.

Being launched in 'Five Star', it was Prasanna who turned out to be most successful as a hero among the five in the film. He had a dream run with 'Azhagiya Theeye' and 'Kanda Naal Mudhal', but a few stumbling stones came his way in the form of 'Seena Thaana' and 'Manjal Veyyil'. While the former was a dud in the box office, the later is yet to be released. Meanwhile, his mystery with Sidhique's, 'Sadhu Miranda', also failed to stir the audience despite the acclaim he won as the baddie in 'Anjathey'.

The actor, who has completed his acting portion of 'Achamundu Achamundu', is awaiting the release of the film, while his 'Manjal Veyyil', over a year after its shooting, is likely to hit screens next month. Raja, who has directed the film, also seems to be in search of good luck, and is said to have changed his name to Vaseegaran, looking for better luck.
