Popular actor and former Union Minister, UV Krishnam Raju, who represented Narsapur Lok Sabha seat as a BJP nominee, was in news recently, for his saying that he is planning to switch-over to Congress from BJP.

Sources say that a senior leader of BJP talked to Krishnam Raju regarding the issue, and assured him a prominent place in the party.

Recently, State chief of the party Bandaru Dattatreya had a tete-a-tete with Krishnam Raju on Thursday evening. Actor and leader of the party Naresh also accompanied him. The purpose behind the meet is hidden yet it could be a part for finalizing the first list of candidates to contest for Assembly and Lok Sabha positions in Andhra Pradesh.

Later, Krishnam Raju made it clear to the press that he don’t have any plans to switch over from the party and will be contesting for the Lok Sabha elections from Narsapur again.
