Popular stars Vineeth and Padmapriya are coming together for the first time, for the upcoming film 'Charulathayude Baaki'. Directed by débutante Sangeetha padmanabhan, the movie is the screen version of the short story written by Priya A S titled the same.

'Charulathayude Baaki' will portray the institutional and relational aspects of marriage with a visual narration based on the emotional aspects of an educated unmarried girl, as she grooms herself for the marriage market. Padmapriya plays the central role of Amritha, the protagonist who tries to address the emotional and social equations of a newly married woman.

Cinematographed by Shahnad Jaleel, the film will be edited by Manoj. Also in the cast are Manian pillai raju, Dinesh panikkar, Vanitha, Sreelatha and Vasantha Kokilam.
