‘Devarakonda Veeraiah’ produced and directed by R. Narayana Murthy was released on Sneha Chitra Pictures banner. After two weeks of screening, the movie received controversial reviews from all quarters. Based on the story of a doting father and the way he takes justice in his hands to punish the social criminals, the film had few scenes depicting our society’s burning issues which is now being changed.

The shows have been halted temporarily to make few changes for the film and also make the title as ‘Kuthuru Kosam’.

A press meet was organized to relate the scene and title change news on February 3rd at Prasad Labs. R. Narayana Murthy informed that the film will get re-released as ‘Kuthuru Kosam’. Certain scenes will be altered and a new song will be added in the process.
