Sharvanand established himself as a hero with 'Gamyam' in Tollywood. He has now got a break in Kollywood with 'Kadalan Summa Illai' – the remake of 'Gamyam'. The news of the film's good opening during Sankrathi (Pongal in Tamilnadu), has brought happiness to Tollywood as well.

'Gamyam' a remake of the Spanish film 'The Motorcycle Diaries' was a highly successful and critically acclaimed film amongst the 2008 releases in Telugu. 'Kadalan Summa Illai' is a remake of this in Tamil and produced by the Raj TV Network.

It is not unusual to dub a hit film from one language to another; however, this film is passionately remade into Tamil. The initial trend does suggest that the film will be well received.

Sharvanand was acclaimed for exhibiting matured acting skill. His latest 'Raju – Maharaju', with Dr.Mohan Babu and Ramyakrishna playing key roles, is getting ready for release.
