Actor-director and producer Sasikumar was the face of Tamil cinema in 2008. His 'Subramaniapuram' has been hailed as a movie of the year and accolades are still pouring in, for him from all quarters.

Sasikumar is busy acting in 'Nadodigal' being directed by Samuthirakani, who played the evil 'Chithappa' in 'Subramaniapuram'.

When everyone is anticipating Sasikumar's next movie, the director has announced his next production venture instead. Having tasted with the success of his debut venture as a producer, Sasikumar is now going to produce a movie 'Pasanga' to be directed by Pandiarajan. If you think, this Pandiarajan is the yesteryear director-actor, you are mistaken. He is a debutant director who is an associate of director Cheran.

An elated Sasikumar says, 'Pandiarajan stunned me with his script. The movie is going to be a real trendsetter in terms of throwing light on the beautiful world of school going children. Their life is unique, which has not been bought on celluloid since awhile.'
