'Sontha Vuru' starring Raja and Theertha is directed by P. Sunil Kumar Reddy. Latest reports indicate that shooting for the film is complete and that the post production work is currently on. 'Sontha Vuru' is produced by Y. Ravindra Babu and Kishori Basireddy. The film also showcases L. B. Sriram in a prominent role.

According to the makers of the film the story takes place with a rustic backdrop and so the film has been filmed at picturesque locations around Hyderabad and Kandukuru in order to capture the feel of the rural side. All the artists reportedly have performed well.

Music has been composed by Saketh Sairam and insiders of the project are of the opinion that it has come very good. The complete film will be on DI (Digital Intermediate) to bring about a rich look on the screen.

The other important cast of the film include Tanikella Bharani, Jaiprakash Reddy, VijayChander, Jeeva, MS Narayana, Rallapalli, Veerendra Chauhan, Raju Srivasthav, Swathi, Arthi Puri, Master Ashok and Baby Nagarani.
