Balakrishna is literally now in the banks of river Godavari. He’s in the natural sets there to film a song that starts today and will be carried out till the end of this month in and around Rajahmundry. Before this, scenes and two of the songs were canned in Malaysia.

Vaishnavi Cinema banner is producing the movie starring Balakrishna and Priyamani in the lead cast. Director Mahadev, an associate of SS Rajamouli is directing this movie, produced by S. Krishna Prasad.

Briefing on the movie, producer Sivalenka Krishna Prasad said, “We have a good story for this film. The scenes and songs reeled in Ramoji Film City and Malaysia has all emerged well on the screen.”

‘From Thursday, 25th Dec till 30th, we will film a song in the locales of Rajahmundry, Polavaram, Ramachandrapuram and the surrounding areas of river Godavari. The song will feature hero Balakrishna, Chalapathi Rao, Balaiah, Surekha Vani, Sana and 20 other actors. Sridhar Reddy will choreograph the song. Mani Sharma is composing the music.’

‘From 2nd January to 23rd, we have plans to commence one long schedule which will be used to shoot the talkie parts. We will end the shooting with a final schedule in February. The movie will get released in April, 2009.’
