The multinational Indian company, Pyramid Saimira is now venturing into the field of FM radio. They will be launching their new radio station Saimira FM by January, 2009. The large group of companies has a strong hold on the entertainment industry with film production, distribution and theatres. The erudite business strategy of pyramid companies is by acquiring theatres before they made their first step into cinema. Later, their movie production company had an upper hand to screen the flicks in their multiplexes. On the same line, they are planning to launch an fm as they already a wide range of have music albums in their banner.
A new wing of theirs is Pyramid audios that hold the audio rights for a slew of the recently released and upcoming movies.
Pyramid audios are releasing the music of 'En Eppadi Mayakinai', composed by an erstwhile associate of AR Rahman shortly. The much anticipated Bala's 'Naan Kadavul' is also being released by the same company which is pipelined to be out before the end of December.
