Shooting for 'Newtonin 3aam Vidhi' is going on at a brisk pace and the director of the film Thaimuthu Selvam says seventy percent of the film has been completed.
The film features S. J. Suryah and Hindi actress Shayali Bhagat in lead roles. The heroine bagged the prestigious Miss India title for the year 2004 and also featured in a Hindi film by Subash Ghai.
In an exclusive interview to Indiaglitz, the director says, "the film has been shot in its entirety in Chennai in places such as Abirami Mega Mall, Udhayam Theater and Pallavakkam'.
However, the director has plans of filming two song sequences abroad and appropriate locations are being scouted for.
Recording of four songs have been completed and the director is more than happy with the outcome. A song has been rendered by Sunitha Sarathy and S. J. Suryah has also lent his voice for it. It is based on the popular Bharathiar poem 'Kannamma'.
Na. Muthukumar, Kabhilan, Vivega asnd Illayakamban have penned the lyrics.
Thaimuthu Selvam, who debuted with the popular Maramdesam serial on television, is happy with Shayali Bhagat's dedication and performance. "She is not like most North Indian actresses who have trouble with the Tamil language. However long the dialogues are, she makes it a point to deliver them correctly so much so prompting is not necessary".
The director gifted a 'Learn Tamil in 30 days' book to Shayali and is of the opinion that it has helped her a lot.
'Newtonin 3aam Vidhi' has non-composed fight sequences and as reported earlier S. J. Suryah was injured while filming in Palavakkam. The actor was on a motorbike following a car and the unfortunate accident happened. S. J. Suryah sustained wounds on his face and needed four stitches.
The other artistes in the film include, Rajiv Krishna who plays the villain, Thalaivasal Vijay, Sathyapriya and Tarika.
