Kalabhavan Mani's flick 'Aandavan' made a low key release this week. The movie which was in the cans for long enmeshed with distributor problems were originally poised to reach the theatres during last year’s Vishnu. The movie directed by Akbar-Jose made to around 30 theatres, with the least pre publicity.

Scripted by Gireesh Kumar and Rajesh Jayraman, the movie features Sindhu Menon, Jagathy, Anand, Boban Alummoodan, Salim Kumar, Machan Varghese, Narayanankutty and Subair.

‘Aandavan’ has got a few good songs penned by Kaithapram and Bappu Veliparambu and put to music by Alex Paul. Vipin Mohan handles the camera for this film.

The interesting thing about the movie is that its director duo Akbar Jose has split up after completing this movie, a year ago. Now both the directors are independently planning new movies. While Akbar, in the name Akku Akbar has completed Veruthe Oru Bharya with Jayaram and Gopika, Jose has also got plans to do a movie in the near future.
