The power star Puneeth Rajakumar's next film title 'Poli' has been changed. There has been widespread condemnation to the title 'Poli' (Casinova). The title before the launch of the film has been renamed as 'Raj'. Hat trick director Prem with a severe blow from 'Preethi Eke Bhoomi Melidhe' is directing this film.

'Gaja' producer Suresh Gowda and Srinivasamurthy sitting pretty with the success of the film announced the change in the title at the 50th day of 'Gaja' media meet on Monday evening. V.Harikrishna scores the music for 'Raj'.

The title 'Raj' aptly suits Puneeth Rajakumar when looks at the box office collection of his nine films (Appu, Abhi, Veera Kannadiga, Mourya, Namma Basava, Arasu, Akash, Milana and Bindhaas). All his eight have completed 100 days. His ninth release 'Bindhaas' is on the way to 100 days. Obviously he is the 'King' meaning 'Raj' of Kannada cinema.

It may be recalled that Smt.Parvathamma Rajakumar mother of Puneeth Rajakumar showed aversion indirectly to 'Poli' title at the audio release of Kannada film 'Omme Nodidhe'. At the same audio release function Smt.Parvathamma Rajakumar the leading lady of Kannada cinema said the English titles to Kannada films should be avoided.
