Isn’t Manoj’s film a spin off of Memento?

We watched 'Ghazini', which is the first version of the film Memento by the British director Chirstopher Nolan. Now from the promos of Nenu Meeku Telusa, we have come to know of one thing.

It is very similar to the Hollywood flick itself. Manoj appears to be playing the role that Guy Pearce had played in the original.

Now, it remains to be seen if the ad man-turned director of the film Ajay Sastri would stick to the original and make an inspired film or would spring a surprise on us by doing something different from the original.
