Celebrations of Deepavali, the Festival of Lights, wouldn't have been more of a gala affair than this for special children.

It was a fun- filled evening for about 500 children from more than 20 homes from across Chennai city. They gathered at MGR Janaki College of Arts and Science for the celebrations organized by the Inner Wheel District 323.

The fete was attended by actor Vivek. In his typical style, he made the children laugh. The star mimicked some of his hit dialogues in Tamil films following a request from the children.

Earlier, executive director of Abirami Mega Mall and past district chairman of Inner Wheel District 323, Nallammai Ramanathan, while addressing the children, insisted on the importance of cultivating good habits.
