‘Thoondil’ is directed by Adhiyaman, Ramya and Sandhya are the heroines for Shaam. Shaam had a miraculous escape a few days back while he was shooting in ‘Go Island’ near Pattaya in Bangkok for the film.

The entire movie unfolds in London with a few portions shot in Bangkok. Interestingly Sandhya plays the role of a loving mom for the first time! Dhivya's role has a major say in the movie. She provides the right turn and twist in the story.

Vivek is also here to bring down the roof with his amusing slapstick this time.

“The movie has a different storyline that would appease womenfolk a lot. . . All the characters have their best on the screen”, said director Adhiyaman. ‘Thoondil’ would be a movie with a movie sans gory violence or bloodshed, amidst action-packed flicks in Kollywood in recent trend.

The whole film was shot in London as the story revolves around a family living there. Abhishek Ray has done the musical score for this film. All the songs have come out well and it is really healthy to introduce a fresh talent in Tamil cinema. The post production works for the movie was completed at the studio owned by Soundarya Rajnikanth.
