The monsoon rain has played havoc on the shootings of several films in Tamilnadu.

The heavy rain in the past couple of days has affected the normal life in the State.

Shooting of several movies especially those shot in southern districts of Tamilnadu has come to a grinding halt as a result of the rain.

Dhanush – Nayantara starrer 'Yaradi Nee Mohini' which was being shot in Thirunelveli and its adjoining areas was stopped as a result of the heavy rain.

Similarly, Trisha starrer 'Abhiyum Naanum', produced by Prakashraj and directed by Radha Mohan, could not be carried out as a result of heavy rain in Munnar and its adjoining areas.

Also the shooting for Vadivelu's 'Indiralotahil Na Azhagappan' was halted as a result of heavy rains. The movie was being shot in Courtallam.

The producers and directors several films in Kollywood are now hoping for the rains to stop to enable them to commence their work. This time Kollywood says “Rain rain go away!"
