Mohanlal's latest offering for this Ramzan 'Paradesi' had a dull opening in almost all centres of the state. It is only in the Malabar areas, that the film is sustaining any interest to get a collection of fifty percent.

And in every other centre, the film is looked upon as an 'Award Padam' which trails at a snailing pace. Meanwhile Mohanlal has got three more films this year, the next being Renjith's 'Rock N Roll’. The film is charted for Deepavali that is on November 9.

After thirty days of the release of this film, Mohanlal will have another release in 'Aakashagopura’, a take on Ibsen’s Master builder. The film which was shot in London is directed by another parallel filmmaker K P Kumaran.

And for this Christmas, Mohanlal is striving hard to get his project with Sibi Malayil ‘Flash’ into theatres. The film which started its shooting last week at Kozhikode has ‘Note Book’ fame Parvathy as the heroine. Scripted by Sibi Malayil, the film will mark the return of Sibi Malayil into active film making, after a gap of two years.
