Shooting of 'Pellayindi Kaanee' directed by EVV Satyanarayana and produced by Narasimha Rao on the banner of Raasi Movies with Allari Naresh, Kamalini Mukherjee in the lead, Harish and Bhanupriya in key roles was completed recently with the shooting of some important scenes and canning of songs at Kashmir.

Naresh is playing the role of a mentally challenged man in this movie.

It may be recalled here that Akkineni Nageswara Rao had played the role of an innocent man in the old classic 'Samsaram' and it is learnt that both the films had this similarity.

However, it is not yet known whether the entire film had such similarities or not.

Director EVV says, 'This subject is better than my earlier hit film 'Aame' and I am sure that 'Pellayindi Kaanee' would earn me a very good name.'

Presently post-production are in brisk progress for the film and editing work is under way.
