The Amitabh-starrer 'Don' was a big hit in Bollywood. The same film was remade in Telugu as 'Yugandhar' with the late NTR as hero by his personal make-up man P Peetambaram.

The film was later remade in Tamil as 'Bhilla' with Rajanikant as hero. Again the film was remade in Tamil with Ajith as hero.

Though the film was made in different languages with different heroes, it was proved a big hit everywhere. Very recently, the film was again remade in Hindi with Shahrukh Khan as hero in Bollywood and that was also proved a big hit.

Now, plans are underway to remake the film in Telugu under the direction of P Vasu, with P Vidyasagar, brother of P Vasu as producer, and P Pitambaram as the presenter on the banner of Sri Gajalakshmi Arts.

It is also learnt that a young, dynamic and powerful hero is likely to play the hero in this film. Most probably that hero should be NTR.

The regular shooting of the movie would begin in November. It is surprising to note that 'Yugandhar' was also produced on the same banner earlier.
