Come August and Sunny Deol's KAAFILA is expected to hit the screens. Shot across continents on a mega budget, the film is directed by Amitoj Maan who also acts in the film.
Director and actor AMITOJ MAAN came to Mumbai from Punjab with dreams of becoming an actor and joined Nadira Babbars theatre group Ekjut and gained invaluable experience doing a number of stage plays, thus evolving into becoming an actor of caliber.
In 1992, the one and only Dilip Kumar signed AMITOJ as the hero for his directorial debut film Kalinga. Along this period, AMITOJ was offered a number of films by other renowned film makers but could not do them due to his contract with the producer of Kalinga. Unfortunately, the film could not be released due to unforeseen circumstances.
Armed with his own creativity and conviction, AMITOJ turned his vision from enacting dreams to creating dreams for the silver screen. After directing more than 20 music video albums and winning awards for them, he was ready to start his own film.
