Kalabhavan Mani who has been straining his muscles playing action hero in the last few films is planning to appear altogether in a different getup and role in the new film Ambilimaaman.

He will present the character of a kuthiyottam artiste named Chandran in the film. The film will have ample space for naadan songs including kuthiyottam songs for which Mani is already famous.

The movie tells the story of the relation between education and rituals that makes the difference in attitudes in humans. The film which marks the debut of Binuchandran as a director will be produced by Good luck India movies.
