Gopika now plays Mohanlal's heroine in Alibhai.
She had acted with Mammootty as his heroine in a couple of films. She had already starred with Dileep and Jayaram. It is now her turn to star with Mohanlal.
Alibhai is going to have her starring as Mohanlal's heroine for the first time in her career. The film's shooting begins very soon in Kozhikode and Mangalapuram.
Though Gopika had already starred with Mohanlal in 'Keerthichakra', she did not play his pair. Lakshmi Gopalswamy was his leading lady in the movie.
