Recording of songs was completed for 'Athidi' directed by Y Surender Reddy and produced by G Rameshbabu on the banner of Sri Krishna Productions with Prince Maheshbabu, and Amritha Rao in the lead.

Manisharma scored tunes for the songs which were recorded in Mahati Recording Studio in Film Nagar of Hyderabad recently.

Presently the film unit is busy with shooting at Padmalaya Studios. 'Every individual would come into this world as a guest and gets out after completing his job' is the basic storyline of the movie directed by Surender Reddy of 'Athanokkade'-fame.

The film has a very good storyline and at the same time the dialogues and music would also be quite thrilling. The combination of Manisharma and Maheshbabu had produced several successful films including 'Rajakumarudu, Vamsi, Murari, Takkari Donga, Okkadu, Athadu and Pokiri'.

Hence there were lots of expectations on the success of the audio too.
