Shooting of 'Raju Bhai' directed by Surya Kiron and produced Padma Sri Dr M Mohanbabu on the banner of Sri Lakshmi Prasanna Pictures with his second son Manojkumar as hero and Sheela as heroine is nearing completion.

This is the 47th film on the banner.

Producer Mohanbabu says, 'We are remaking a successful Tamil film 'Chittam Pesaradu' as 'Raju Bhai'. However, we made some 30 per cent changes to the original to suit the nativity. Manoj personally did some risky shots on his own, without depending on dupes. Though everyone claims that their film would be a definite hit, they would have some doubt over the success of the film in their minds. But I am very confident that the film would be a definite super hit, because there is a very good story. There are no second thoughts about its failure. We are planning to release the film on May 11 after completing all the formalities.'
