In a recent event held to promote the cause of AIDS awareness, Shilpa Shetty and Richard Gere came together in an event where the latter impromptu ended up kissing the gorgeous lady.
As expected, ever since then there is a furor being witnessed amongst media and political circles. Tired of all the unwanted attention and unnecessary accusations, Shilpa Shetty has come out in open.
In a statement issued through her spokesperson and publicist Dale Bhagwagar, she says, "The media should concentrate on the promotion of the cause of AIDS awareness, rather than make 'issues' out of Richard Gere's kisses."
