It is well aware that the successful Bollywood film 'Lage Raho Munnabhai' is being remade in Telugu as 'Shankar Dada Zindabad', as a sequel to the hit film 'Shankar Dada MBBS' by the Gemini Film Circuits.

The regular shooting of the film is also in brisk progress in Hyderabad.

At the same time, the producer and director are vigorously in search of a cute face for the heroine. First, they tried to rope in Vidyabalan, who played heroine in the original Hindi version but failed to book her.

Now, the names of Nayanatara and Asin are under consideration for the movie. However, the suspense is still continuing on who would pair up opposite the Mega Star Chiranjeevi.

The second schedule of the film was slated from March 28.

Devisri Prasad is providing music for the flick while Prabhudeva is wielding the megaphone.
