Raghava Lawrence, who had earlier directed 'Mass and Style', directed 'Muni' as his third project in Tamil, which was dubbed into Telugu and was released simultaneously on March 9.

The film had achieved a commercial hit talk right from the morning show after its release.

Raghava Lawrence had played the role of a timorous personality, who doesn't move out of the house alone after 6 pm, while Rajkiran did a mass leader's role.

The way Lawrence entertained the audiences with his performance in the first half received a good applause from the audiences. Heroine Vedika also performed well and almost competed with Lawrence in dance sequences.

The fights and action sequences were picturised well by the director, especially in the second half. The audiences expressed the opinion that Raghava Lawrence did the direction excellently and achieved the hattrick as director.

The film has similarities of Chandramukhi.
