Madhavan has urged the people to go the veggie way.

Announcing the 'Mega Vegetarian Food Expo 2007' to be held at Rajah Muthiah Hall, Chennai on 12 and 13 January by the Indian Vegetarian Congress (IVC) as part of its golden jubilee year, the actor said on Thursday, "Vegetarians are least exposed to health problems that include coronary diseases and life- consuming diseases like cancer."

"The eating habits especially among the youngsters have changed, as many opt for fast and packaged food, in today's long, hectic work schedule and lifestyle. Educating people on the benefits of vegetarian food is necessary and initiatives of IVC is appreciable," he said.
