Director Shekhar Kammula produced 'Anand' under his own direction with a very limited budget and released the film with just four prints.

With mouth publicity, the film became one of the biggest hits of the year. True to its tagline, 'O Manchi Coffee Laanti Cinema', the film is just like a good coffee.

At a time when producers used to make films with heavy budget and claim that there is a biggest film, Shekhar Kammula proved that a good story would do for making it a biggest hit.

In his next effort, he chose Sumanth as the hero and roped in the same heroine Kamalini Mukherjee for 'Godavari'.

The film was produced by 'Toliprema' producer GVG Raju and made that film also a big hit. Very recently he reportedly prepared a good subject which suits the body language of Nagarjuna.

Shekhar narrated that story to Nagarjuna and the latter gave green signal to the subject.

Nagarjuna's next flick Don is likely to go to sets on December 23. It is reliably learnt that Shekhar Kammula's film takes shape after finishing 'Don'.
