Mammootty - Five films for five months

Mammootty will have five films released for the next five months. The immediate release will be Pothen Vava which is planned as a Ramzan release. This film produced by Lal releases is said to have shaped up well and will make its screen presence from October 24.

The next to follow will be Karutha Pakshikal which is charted as an November 18 release , 25 days after the release of Pothen Vava.

Mammootty is presently in the sets of Palunku directed by Blessy, planned for Xmas. Mammootty has already completed another film Kaiyoppu by Renjith. This film is devised as an offbeat attempt to suit a festival circuit. This film may make an appearance in the January of 2007.

Mammootty in December will be shooting for Shafi's Mayavi, which will be released by the February of 2007.

Soon after this film Mammootty has given 100 days for an epic film Payyamvelli Chanthu the big budgeted entertainer by MT Hariharan. This film produced by Gokulam Gopalan and distributed by Swargachithra will be one of the most expensive films produced in Malayalam. This film will be Onam offering of the team.
