The shooting of 'Annavaram' directed by Bheemaneni Srinivasa Rao and produced on the banner of Mega Super Good Films Pvt Ltd with Pawan Kalyan and Asin in the lead is progressing at Ramanaidu Cine Village in Nanakramguda. Presently some important action scenes are being canned under the direction of fight master Vijayan.

Presenter of the film RB Choudary says, 'Earlier, Pawan Kalyan worked with us for 'Suswagatham' and it is the remake of a Tamil film 'Love today'. Both are proved big hits in both the languages. Likewise, 'Khushi' is also a remake of a Tamil film and both are hits. In both those Tamil films Vijay is the hero. Now, we are remaking the same hero Vijay's hit film 'Tirupachi' in Telugu. So the winning streak will continue this time as well and 'Annavaram' would be a definite hit. While Asin is playing opposite Pawan Kalyan in the female lead, Sandhya of 'Premiste'-fame is playing his sister's role.'

Producers SV Prasad and Paras Jain say, 'So far we have completed 40 per cent of the shoot. We want to follow the tradition of the banner and hence planning to release the film on January 1. Ramana Gogula is giving mellifluous music for the film. There are six songs in the film and this will be the career's best music album for Pawan Kalyan.
