After the big success of the film Kita Kitalu, director E.V.V.Satyanarayana is planning to direct his next film, which in turn will be a full-length comedy based on the lines of his previous film. Maharishi Cinema owner Valluripalli Ramesh will produce the film, who in the past produced films like Asadhyudu, with Kalyan Ram and the lately the film Ashok, with Junior NTR, which made on a huge budget.

The title Athili Sattibabu LKG is the name of the character played by Ravi Teja in the hugely successful film Vikramarkudu. S.S.Rajamouli directed the film. The mannerisms and the antics of Ravi Teja, who played the role of Athili Sattibabu, in the film became so popular that the director E.V.V.Satyanarayana decided to retain the title keeping in mind the mass audience and comic nature of the film.

The hero of the film is his second son Naresh.
