Akshaye Khanna truly seems to be reveling in his new found single status and proving to be quite a charmer. That Akshaye has a certain pedigree is a given fact. Even recently for an on-location shoot of ‘Aap Ki Khatir’ Akshaye was really in a very upbeat & jovial mood. Sensing this, both Priyanka & Ameesha Patel started pulling his leg & teased him. In fact one charming lady from the production unit went up to him and asked “Are you in Love? You really seem up to something!!"

Akshaye was just caught unaware and didn't know how to react. He only gave his trademark smile that seemed to suggest that they guessed right.

Also recently Akshaye was also in the news for his clean shaven bald look a la Zidane, Beckham and Brad Pitt. When a publication did a poll on his bold new look, they were inundated with 5001 Sms (es) and calls with everyone in favor of his ‘cool’ looks. They also felt that he had one of the most handsome faces in the industry and the right attitude to carry off the look like his western counterparts.

Says Akshaye. “Since I am on an extended vacation for the next 3 months, I felt like shaving my head and so I did it. Also something very nice of our profession is that you have the freedom to do what you want to do. And I believe that you don’t have to have a reason for everything you do, if you feel like it, just does it”!
