The two Star kids Abhay Deol and Soha Ali Khan with their director Shiivam Nair was in PVR Plaza where a press conference was organized to promote their latest romantic flick 'Ahista Ahista'. The movie is produced by Anjum Rizvi.
Soha Ali Khan, Delhite by birth, started her carrier with movie 'Yeh Dil manage more' (2004) and 'Shaadi No1' (2005) but came into lime light with her latest release 'Rang De Basanti'. I feel like a Heroine in this movie as it is my first venture as a single female lead says the Pataudi girl. She plays the role of Megha who has run away from her home to get married to her love, Dheeraj. Later, as the Time passes she realizes her potential as an educated girl and starts working in an NGO. It took 52 days to shoot the movie and we spent 22 days shooting in Delhi says the Shiivam Nair the director of the movie 'Ahista Ahista' who has also worked on TV serials. The USP of the Movie are its songs which has been Directed by Himesh Reshamiya. The Love story has all the flavors of Old Delhi like Chandni Chowk, Meena Bazar, Jama Masid and Nizamudin Station.
Making his foothold in the Bollywood Indusrty, Abhay Deol plays a role of a young Boy 'Ankush' who earns his livelihood by being the witness in a marriage registration office, where he falls in love with Megha who elopes with her boy friend to get married but is ditched by her Boy Friend. Though the movie is a small budget film still the movie has a simple story, which people can relate to says down to earth Deol who is trying to make his image of Young lover boy next door.
We need to prove our self said both the star kids who believed the fact that though being the star kids it was easy for them to step in the industry but its really difficult for them to gain acceptance as an artiste from the public.
Deol will be next seen in Ek Challis Ki Last local, Honey Moon Travels whereas the complete reflection of Sharmila Tagore, Soha Ali Khan is looking forward to Bahut Nikle Mere Armaan, Postcard and Meridian.
