With reports of his Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu clearing all hurdles, Kamal Haasan is gearing up to commence his much awaited Dasavatharam soon.

Sources close to the actor say, the movie would hit the floors on 18 August at a temple town near Tiruchy (Darasuram).

The movie which features Kamal Haasan in ten different roles including that of a old woman is being directed by KS Ravi Kumar with dialogues by Crazy Mohan.

It may be recalled that Asin has been assigned to play the heroine. Sources say now Bollywood sex icon Mallika Sherawat has also been roped in the movie for a hefty fee.

Post Myth opposite Jackie Chan, Mallika has emerged a sought-after heroine in India.

Bollywood's popular music director Himesh Reshammiya is scoring music.

With the coming together of who's who in the Indian film industry, Dasavatharam has everything in it to become a blockbuster.
