Soha Ali Khan and Abhay Deol seem to have ‘Ahista Ahista’ fallen in love with each other on the sets of their first film together. Well, if a News Channel is to be believed then that’s exactly the story like.

The pretty young news reporter went as far as matching the illustrious family tree of the girl and the boy. Like, Abhay is the nephew of Dharmendra and has cousins like Sunny, Bobby, Esha and Aahana, while Soha’s mom Sharmila Tagore, father Navab Pataudi, the great cricketer and superstar brother Saif Ali Khan complete the family portrait.

It’s weird-but-true, television news channels these days are willing to go to any length to manufacture stories where maybe none exists.

Talking about ‘Ahista Ahista’ then its music is already a super-hit. Himesh Reshamiya has given his best music score till date. Title track ‘Ahista Ahista’, ‘Allah Kare’, ‘Tere Ishq Mein’, ‘Awan Akhiyan’ and ‘Tum Jo Mile’ are chartbusters.

And more importantly there’s a lot of variety in terms of musical tastes. From the promos one can make out that Abhay and Soha share a sparkling chemistry. It is touted to be a remake of Hrishikesh Mukherjee’s classic comedy ‘Chupke Chupke’ that starred Dharmendra, Sharmila Tagore, Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan. Let’s see if director Shivam Nair manages to revive the Hrishikesh Mukherjee brand of cult family cinema.
