Venky, after a brief hiatus following the success of Lakshmi, is now back on track.

The lanky hero has commenced shooting for Aadavari Matalaku Ardhaley Veruley (AMAV), from last week.

Directed by Selvaraghavan, AMAV stars Trisha as the heroine.

Sivaji, K Viswanath, Kota, Sunil are also in the cast. Yuvan Shankar Raja is composing the music.

Meanwhile, Venky seems in a mood to pick up momentum in his career again.

Close on the heels of this movie, he is ready to take up a movie under the direction of Boyapati Srinu. The latter had delivered the hit Bhadra.

The new movie, which will begin in September, is to be produced by Suresh Babu.
