After the success of Ghajini, all his previous Tamil movies are being released here as dubbed ventures.

Trisha, on the other hand, is a top heroine in Tollywood.

So when a movie which features them is already there, it is natural that it is dubbed in Telugu.

The Suriya-Trisha Tamil film Mounam Pesiyadhe, directed by the talented Amir, is being released in Telugu as Kanchu.

The film was released four years back in Tamil.

It was a middling hit, but the songs, by Yuvan Shankar Raja, were a big hit.

The Telugu version is produced by Ram on SS Communications banner.

Executive producer Purushottam Naidu said Suriya plays a tough character and we hope the film makes it big at the box office.

The movie will release in the latter half of this month or early July.
