Director Selvaraghavan is determined to ensure that Pudhupettai goes on to collect good revenues at the box office.

He along with the cast and crew is going to the theatres where the movie is screened in rural areas of Tamil Nadu to promote the movie.

The movie directed by Selvaraghavan with Dhanush, Sneha and Sonia Agarwal in the lead roles, is all about gangsters.

Interestingly the movie had a fantastic opening.

In order to promote the film, Selvaraghavan along with Dhanush, Sneha, Aravind Krishna toured theatres in Thirunelveli where the movie was released and managed to bring more audience.
