Trust Venkatesh to be forthright and honest.

The lanky actor is a cool guy who is never rushed into doing things.

Venkatesh, who had completed his MBA before getting into filmdom, feels whatever he has achieved in filmdom is a big bonus for him.

Talking to a media channel, Venkatesh was candid enough to admit that he came to the industry for a lark. 'My ambitions were limited. Whatever I set out to do and whatever I wanted to earn was done in the first few years of my acting career itself,' he said disarmingly. So it is now bonus time, he added.

Venkatesh, who began his career in the mid 1980s, has been one of the most successful heroes of all time in Telugu.

Venkatesh's last film Lakshmi was big hit.

But Venkatesh, who is now into things spiritual, says he has crossed the stage where a film's success or failure don't affect him. 'I have gone beyond that.'
