Joining the list of choreographers becoming directors is Raju Sundaram.

It may be recalled that the likes of Prabhu Deva and Lawrence Raghavendra are the sought-after directors in Tollywood now.

However, Raju Sundaram will be directing Dhanush in Tamil. It is a remake of blockbuster Kannada film Jogi.

Actor Rajinikanth had been to Bangalore recently and he happened to see Jogi in a theatre.

Impressed with the commercial ingredients in the movie, he has reportedly urged his son-in-law to act in its Tamil remake.

And the news is that he will do so under the direction of Raju Sundaram.
