She is young. She is fresh. But she is a veteran.

The heroine of Navdeep’s film Seethakoka Chiluka, Sheela is a just a teenager.

This is also her first appearance as a heroine. But she is not making her debut.

For, Sheela is well introduced to Telugu fans as a child artiste.

As she says, ‘I have been in the industry for over 14 years’. That is a whopping number indeed.

In Seethakoka Chiluka, produced by Hari Gopalakrishna Murthy, she plays a nubile girl opposite Navdeep.

Sheela is thrilled that apart from the fact that she is the heroine of the movie, the film will also be dubbed in Tamil as Elavatam.

Her other source of happiness is at the role herself. ‘It is a well-rounded character. There are many aspects to the personality. My role will reflect that,’ she says.

After Seethakoka Chiluka, she has Kamna with Anand fame Raja. This movie will be also be a Tamil-Telugu bilingual.

Sheela wants to break the jinx that child artistes seldom go on to bigger things as senior pros.
