Now that Ajith is back with a bang, director Bala was all set to commence his next Naan Kadavul (starring Ajith).

Though the movie was initially slated to produced and directed by Bala himself, buzz is that now P L Thenappan of Rajalakshmi Films, who is busy producing Silambarsan's debut directorial venture Vallavan, will handle this one too.

The movie is expected to commence this April by which time Ajith would have completed the shooting of Tirupathi being directed by Perarasu.

Sources close to Ajith said it would be the movie in the actor's career and that Ajith has been doing all homework to suit the role.

The year 2006 so far has been kind to Ajith. His Pongal release Paramasivan is leading the race in box office ahead of Vijay's Aathi, while expectations are high on his next Tirupathi which has Perarasu wielding the megaphone and the famed AVM Productions producing the same.

When considered down and out, Ajith has managed to stage one of the strongest comebacks.
