All eyes are now on Kalyan Ram. Even though his Atanokkade was a big hit, there seem to be still some skeptics in the industry wondering whether it was all flash in the pan.

As if to prove his detractors wrong, Kalyan Ram is taking pains to get his Asadhyudu right. It is also said to be a gritty entertainer. Asadhyudu is set for release in February second week.

Kalyan Ram understands the value of the staying power and hence is just banking on Asadhyudu alone.

Though he has become very selective these days, he chooses films according to their merits.

After Asadhyudu his next film would be with Teja. Yes, the maverick director and the born-again Kalyan are working together for a full-blown commercial entertainer.

Sources in the know say that Teja wants to launch the film on 22 February. Now, if you ask what is significant about 22 February. Well, it is his birth date.

And more than anything else, he launched both Chitram and Jeyam (both super duper hits) on the same date.

Though Teja has not had any big success in recent times, Kalyan is taking a big gamble with him.

Now that is interesting.
