The countdown for Jai Chiranjeeva has obviously begun.

With just a few days left to go for its release, the air is surcharged with excitement and enthusiasm.

This is certainly one of the biggest releases of the week and with Chiranjeevi at the helm, it cannot be any bigger.

Says Ravichandra Rao, an ardent film buff, 'this year the new year party will begin early'. His reference is obviously to Jai Chiranjeeva hitting the screens before the year comes to a close.

With two heroines, Bhoomika and Sameera, and the redoubtable K Vijaybhaskar handling the team, Jai Chiranjeeva is also big among the distributors.

The film has been shot extensively in the USA. A song has been shot in Mauritius too.

Mani Sharma's song, especially the Jai Ganesha, has been heard all over Andhra at every street corner.

For Chiru himself, the film has been a good example of his professionalism.

He moves on to Stalin from 15 December.
