Director Shankar's Anniyan was a runaway hit in Tamil and was dubbed as Aparichithudu in Telugu. The film did a remarkable business collecting huge revenue all over the State.

Meanwhile, Anniyan is reportedly getting ready to have a dubbed version in Hindi. Dubbing work is expected to commence soon.

It may be recalled that Shankar's films like Gentleman, Kadhalan, Indian and Jeans were dubbed in Hindi before and he himself had directed the Hindi version of his Mudhalvan starring Anil Kapoor.

Let's hope the movie goes on to leave its impression in Bollywood too.
